Disney's Behavioral Health team is here to assist students and parents through difficult times.  Please feel free to email a Behavioral Health Team Counselor that you are familiar with, or contact someone based on a  specific concern. To assist our families quicker, we have divided up our focuses in the following areas.

Ms. Colletti - primary grades pre-k - 2nd, referrals to services.  Website -

Mrs. Morales - upper grades 6-8th, high school admissions, grades, testing, student/ classwork concerns,  and email Mrs. Morales to sign up to the upper grades' Google Classrooms for more up to date happenings.    

Mrs. Moore-Taylor - middle school, 3rd - 8th, Diverse learners, Students in Temporary Living Situations,  referrals to services, help with using technology for distance learning.  Website -

Dear Disney Families: 

I hope you had a healthy and enjoyable weekend. As we move into the fourth week of our school closing, I would like to thank you again for your child's dedication to learning and balancing everything on your plate. Spring Break is here (4/6 - 4/10) and it's clear everyone has earned it. During the break, please feel free to contact me ( ), Ms. Trilla ( ), or Ms. Thompson ( ), who will be available to help. 

Beginning April 13, all CPS will transition to remote learning. For Disney, this means very little change from what we've been doing these past 3 weeks. Let's continue our outstanding efforts while ensuring that our students learn as much as possible. Count on communication from your child's teacher that you should be used to. 

A PDF of the Walt Disney Magnet School Remote Learning plan is attached, providing specific instructions / links on learning that should be occurring at home for each grade. This learning plan will go into effect on April 13, when we return from spring break. Please contact us if you have any questions (see the communication protocol in the plan).
